EAS Inc is now involved with providing helmets for the LE and Military forces of our country. There are many different styles and cuts with a myriad of optional components for consideration, for example, night vision adaptation, neck protection add ons, the face shield component, and the list goes on. When making this move into the market we carefully considered many products, and because of our consulting for numerous companies from 2000 - 2006 and inside knowledge of the industry practices our final decision although could have been about price, instead it was about quality. The practices of the helmet making manufacturers and the subcontractors who use them for a private label offering frankly are suspect in so many ways; material acquisition is the first aspect that comes to mind. There are many companies buying overrun or rejected aramid to make their helmets, On going QC after the first test also is important. Many after market copies test one time and ongoing QC program recognized by the military is crucial in maintaining quality.
