About Us

The security equipment world has evolved during this first decade of the 21st century and many companies have come to the fore front of leading technology.

EAS Inc. has acquired numerous technologies and manufacturing capabilities from companies in varied sectors of this channel of commerce' and has adopted a successful business model that differs in many respects to the traditional defense contractor corporation. We have taken a systems and design approach' hired quality business developers and key internal staff' and make use of contractors for the pure cut and sew aspects of the gear we produce for government contracts.

We also primarily use consolidated components such that storage and raw materials resource matrices are created to move product and materials through the company model so that the least amount of space is utilized' while maintaining high volume capacity when contracts are awarded.

This approach helps in many aspects of the business especially in quality control. The overhead and operating cost savings of a smaller facility are dramatic with respect to how much money is saved when manufacturing exactly the same products as our competitors. That means we can pass savings on to the individual consumers who are responsible for buying their own equipment' or to the Government no matter what performance level they require. The ability to monitor the operation directly by managers is simplified' and there is greater accountability as everyone is involved with all aspects of the business through cross training methodologies. Models like this are clearly better than huge manufacturing facilities and departmentalization commonly used in large corporations and government agencies.

Our mission continues in development of better equipment and corporate efficiency' and we are always open for input from our customers.

We look forward to meeting your protective and professional equipment requirements for 2009 and beyond.
